Notwithstanding the foregoing, You acknowledge that electronic mail and the Internet are generally insecure media of communication, and Habibian Law cannot guarantee the confidentiality of any electronic mail sent to or received by it, or any information submitted by You to Habibian Law through the Habibian Law Site.
3.3 Authorized Jurisdictions; Certifications
Habibian Law practices law exclusively in New York State. Katharine A. Habibian is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, as set forth in her biography on the Habibian Law Site. Katharine A. Habibian is not certified as a specialist by any professional or governmental authority. Her membership in the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association, and her listing in any practice area on the Habibian Law Site, is not intended to indicate any professional or governmental certification or specialization.
3.4 Principal Office; Responsible Attorney

4. Fraud Alert
Please be vigilant regarding unusual or unsolicited communications that claim to originate from Habibian Law or its personnel. Fraudulent actors may attempt to impersonate the firm or its attorney through email, messaging applications, or other channels. These individuals may use deceptive tactics, including the creation of counterfeit documents and the use of email addresses or contact details that closely resemble those of Habibian Law, in order to obtain confidential information or solicit unauthorized payments.
Habibian Law does not send invoices for payment through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp or Telegram, and does not use personal email services such as Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo for client communications. All official communications from Habibian Law will originate from an @habibianlaw.com email address.
If You receive an unexpected or suspicious message that appears to be from Habibian Law, please confirm its authenticity by contacting the firm directly at info@habibianlaw.com or through the contact information found on this website. Do not click on any link or rely on any contact detail provided within a questionable communication. If You suspect You have been targeted by or fallen victim to a fraudulent scheme, please promptly notify the appropriate authorities.
5. General Terms of Use
5.1 Prohibited Uses
You will not use the Habibian Law Site in violation of any applicable law. 5.8 Miscellaneous
You agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Habibian Law Site or these Notices and Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without reference to conflict of laws principles that would require the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction, and You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County. In the event that You gain access to information not intended to be accessed by You, You agree that You will immediately notify Habibian Law and lawfully destroy all copies of such information in Your possession.
